Surrounded by friends and family, Lisa and Patrick tied the knot in a personal ceremony followed by a great party. The city background, lush lace-and-greenery decor, and personal details (like their adorable guestbook made of vinyl records!) tied the whole day together.
“We wanted the whole day to focus on celebrating with those closest to us,” says the bride. “It was about representing ourselves as a couple in the details, and then having a big party for our guests.”

Lisa, who works in the Diamond Nexus marketing department, knew she wanted to gift Nexus Diamond alternatives to the women in her bridal party.
“Each of my bridesmaids is such an important person in my life, and they were so supportive during our whole relationship and during the wedding planning process. I wanted to gift them something special that I knew they’d love and get a lot of use out of for a long time. The Renee earrings are so simple but striking. They were perfect with the intricate dresses and worked with each of the different necklines.”
It was a similar story with choosing her own jewelry. “My dress was amazing! There was so much detail; it was exactly what I imagined. But I knew I could end up going overboard if I wore too much jewelry. I found the right balance by choosing bigger drop earrings and the daintiest tennis bracelet. I skipped a necklace because I felt it would be too much with all the lace and my long veil. It turned out perfectly. I felt so beautiful, but also just like myself.”
