New! Basket Set Engagement Rings

rings

September 11th, 2018 / Andria Rivers

Introducing our brand new engagement rings: The Basket Set Collection.

Inspired by simplicity, minimalism and mindful design, these rings are timeless. They merge the often competing needs of modern women who live hands-on, but love a bold look. These rings are set with large Nexus Diamond™ alternatives—at least 2 carats—but the simple settings make the designs feel clean and classic.

THE CUTS

The Basket Set Engagement rings are available in eight stone cuts: Round, Cushion, Princess, Oval, Emerald, Pear, Asscher and Radiant.

THE SETTINGS

The rings are available as simple solitaires or as accented designs. Both styles have lower-profile basket settings, which are simple and durable. They let in the maximum amount of light, so the larger center stones sparkle brilliantly.

The solitaire styles feature a subtle knife-edge on the shank,
which makes the band appear slimmer but keeps its strength
and durability.

Round cut Nexus Diamond accent rings

The accented rings feature Round cut Nexus Diamond
accents in shared prong settings. This setting style reduces
the amount of metal needed to set the stones, so the band
appears daintier.

THE WEDDING BANDS

Though the Basket Set Collection does not have specific matching wedding rings, we love pairing them with bands that match their classic style. The accented rings pair well with the Manhattan Band; and the solitaires look lovely with the Bali Classic band, which has a similar knife-edge element.

These recommended pairings will not sit flush against the shank of the engagement ring. Instead, the set creates a trendy look with a gap between the engagement ring and wedding band. This is because the low profile basket setting does not allow a band to slide beneath it.
