The History of the Tennis Bracelet

Do you know where the term “tennis bracelet” came from? After all, the classic single-strand diamond (or diamond alternative) bracelet style doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the sport. Before 1987, this style of bracelet was called an “eternity bracelet.” But, after tennis star Chris Evert had to stop a tennis match because her womens diamond bracelet had come loose and flown off, the style quickly became known as the tennis bracelet.

You won’t have to worry about a Diamond Nexus tennis bracelet flying off, whether you’re playing tennis or tearing up the dance floor at a wedding. Another problem you won’t have? Choosing the perfect carat weight for your tennis bracelet.
