Wedding season is nearly upon us, and the brides-to-be around our office are in full planning mode. They’ve inspired us to round up our favorite bridal trends for 2018. These trends are for engagement rings and the fine jewelry looks brides are choosing for their wedding days and beyond.
ROUNDED FANCY CUTS
Though Round cut is still the most popular, more brides are opting for less common shapes. In particular, they’re going for Oval, Cushion and Pear cut. These rounded stones make a more personal style statement while still maintaining a timeless appeal. These three cuts also maximize carat weight and tend to look larger. Bonus!
ALL OVER ROSE
Even with the reemergence of yellow gold, rose gold is still going strong. What’s new now is that brides pairing rose gold with pink stones. The effect is a monochromatic look that is both modern and yet won’t go out of style. *Some brides choose to use pink accent stones and a white center stone, and others are going for a full rosy style.*
Some brides know exactly what they want their engagement ring to look like, down to the last detail. To achieve perfection, they are turning to semi-custom options by finding a style that’s close to their dream ring, and then working with a designer to make small changes. The results are stunning!
