Firstly, they were massively over packaged, and the customs duty I had to pay when they arrived in the UK was an additional 50% of the cost of the earrings. (I have never had to pay this duty before on jewellery bought from other sites in the US)
The metal is a bit lacklustre and the stones don't sparkle as I was hoping, even after being professionally cleaned they still don't really have any life.
The catch on one earring is loose, which I realised when it slipped out on the the first wearing, I found the earring on the grass and squeezed the clip a little with pliers, not really what I would hope to have to do!
I would have returned these without a second thought, but adding up the cost of posting them back on top of the customs duty I had already paid I decided it would be throwing good money after bad, so I decided to keep them, they might be worn occasionally I imagine, but not as I had originally planned.
In summary, this is my first purchase from DN and in future I will go back to Moissanite which has real fire and the quality of the craftsmanship is fabulous.
