Greetings!
I’m sitting in my office this afternoon and looking out at a beautiful Wisconsin winter day. Yes, it’s cold, but fresh white snow covers the ground and decorates the boughs of the evergreens, and I can see endless V-formations of Canadian Geese streaming south. They know it’s time to get out, but we’re here because the holidays are our busiest time of year at Forever Companies and this year we are delivering more jewelry and engagement rings than ever before.
It’s been a wonderful year of growth and progress for us. We have expanded our offices and workshops and we’ve hired so many new people. Earlier today, as I walked through the various departments, I was struck by the mix of new and familiar faces. We have grown tremendously this year—all thanks to you, our customers.
All of our people are working from early morning till late into the night to create the rings and jewelry that will be given as symbols of love. These are the amazing and talented people that make this company what it is: designers, artisans, engineers, master goldsmiths and all the incredible people who support them. They are putting their hearts, souls and backs into getting the thousands upon thousands of jewelry gifts you have ordered expertly made, beautifully packaged and delivered to destinations all over the world in time for the holiday.
It is a busy, exciting and sometimes nerve-racking time here, but the sore hands, the tired eyes, and the spent and foggy minds are worth it because what we do here is a labor of love. You, our incredible customers have made us not only a successful, growing company, you’ve joined a movement. Every diamond and gemstone we sell that wasn’t torn out of the earth, every ring we make from recycled gold, makes a small but not insignificant difference. It matters and it’s possible because of the choice you made.
So I want to take a moment to deeply thank you. We know that once each piece leaves our hands, it takes on new meaning. It may symbolize a new engagement—or convey a deep love and commitment—and it will be handed down from generation to generation. It celebrates moments of joy in your life and we don’t take that lightly.
As we finish up another holiday season and look ahead to a new year, I want you to know that we will continue to work for you. We’ll provide the best quality and the best value, because we truly believe in the power of beautiful, well-made jewelry.
